Foxmarks Bookmarks Synchronizer
Don’t you hate it when your bookmarks on your home PC, your laptop and office PC (and even your handheld) are all different? When you add/delete/modify one or more of these bookmarks, you have to either copy the link over and over until you get it installed on all the machines you’re using, or use a bookmarking services like Delicious.
Knowing how lazy most of the netizens are (I know I am), we all want something that integrates into our favorite browser to sync our bookmarks for us, automatically so we don’t have to focus on such minor details. Fortunately for us, there’s already floating around the net that does this for us. Foxmarks.
The Foxmarks Bookmark Synchronizer automatically synchronizes your bookmarks between two or more computers running Firefox. It also lets you access your bookmarks from any computer anytime via my.foxmarks.com. An easy-to-use wizard guides you through the quick startup process. Then Foxmarks works silently in the background to keep your bookmarks up-to-date on all your computers.
It’s Simple. It’s Easy to use. It’s Free.
Interesting right?
To be able to use Foxmarks, you need a few things:
- The Firefox Browser
- The Foxmarks Plugin
- A Foxmarks account (can be done during installation)
- Flash Player (used for the flash version of your bookmarks on the Foxmarks site)

Neat huh? Foxmarks allows you to back up your bookmarks online on their server or on your own (an FTP server) and copy them to your browser. The nice thing about it is when Firefox starts up, Foxmarks automatically syncs the local copy of your bookmarks to your account so you don’t have to worry about it.
As a side note though, if you want to commit changes on your current set of bookmarks and upload it to your account, you have to do this manually.
