This Week in Technology: Link Love #1
Since it’s almost impossible to cover everything in the Tech World, I’ll provide you a link to the most interesting pieces of news that pop up. Here’s an excerpt from my other blog on the value of RSS readers.
Thank God and Geeks for inventing the RSS reader. Can you imagine if you had to read all those 50+ blogs in your bookmarks? Well for one, we’d all be stuck in front of your computers getting flooded with surges of new items and we’d never get anything done, there’d be no conflicts since we’re too busy reading and we’d all require glasses ^^.
If you’ve seen the number on the title then you’d note that, like many other upcoming posts, this will be a weekly thing. You can check out other interesting news from Atma Xplorer’s News you just missed series.
- With the release of Dark Alex’s latest work, StyleMo gives us his guide on Installing Custom Firmware 3.80 on your PSP. Also present are for updates M33-2, and (no M33-3?) M33-4.
- Brown thoughts shares his 35 Free Photoshop Actions. It’s a great resource for newbies and advanced users.
- Mcbilly, Kuya Yuga and Kuya Marhgil takes points on the all new Apple Air Book. We all know it’s expensive. But is it worth it?
- Kuya Dex shows us Tongits (A popular filipino past time) on Steriods.. err.. Adobe Air.
- GM Tristan wows at the 150″ LCD screen from Panasonic. Imagine playing your favorite movies on it.. Mmm.. Larger than life!
- TechCrunch reports on Yahoo’s jump to OpenID and how it’s user base is a definitive win for the project.
- The Guardian (co.uk site) asks if Linux can finally unite Korea using the OS as a sort of digital bridge.
- Still gaming on the PC? You gamers gives you their 2008 Guide to Gaming PC Specs.
Now that wraps up this weeks Link Love Series.

I didn’t make a guide for 3.80 M33-3 because you can totally skip that one and go straight to 3.80 M33-4. Thanks for including me in your lists!

Thanks for the mention! Tongits can now be registered for as low as $5! This is for a limited time only and will revert to the original price of $10 (used to be $15) after the promo ends (probably in a few weeks).
