Price drops for Intel processors. Quads at 50% off

Intel sure knows how to undermine the competition.  The company posted up price reductions of 50 percent on a few quad-core processors while introducing new Celeron and Core 2 Duo processor models.
The price revamp involves Core 2 Quad Q6700 (2.66GHz) and quad-core Xeon X3230 (2.66GHz) which received a 50% price cut from $530 to $266 [...]
